Organization
NCLO is overseen by a Board of
Directors which convenes as needed to provide requested input and to
ensure NCLO remains true to its established mission.
While all of NCLO's team members
and volunteers are motivated by a desire to help the children,
NCLO's Country Leaders are individuals whose lives have been changed
by witnessing the poor conditions of children and feel it is their
calling in life to help.
Being a Country Leader is a full
time voluntary position with NCLO, requiring considerable
organization skills, project management, team work, flexibility, and
commitment. It is not for the faint of heart!
NCLO Country Leaders join other
nominated members as NCLO's Executive Team whose purpose is to
ensure consistency across all NCLO programs as well as share ideas
to foster the organization's success in its mission.
Country Leaders employ various
team members who work directly with the children who need the
organization's help. These are the only positions within NCLO that
receive small stipends and these are at accustomed rates for that country.
Onsite and offsite volunteers
assist the organization with promoting its mission, donating funds
and supplies, as well as helping with tasks at hand.
